Preschool English Program at Small Talk

Welcome to the Small Talk Preschool English Program, where your child’s journey into the world of language begins! Our classes are designed for children aged 3 and above, offering a nurturing and engaging environment that fosters a love for learning and sets the foundation for lifelong language skills.

Each day at Small Talk is filled with activities that are both educational and fun, allowing children to explore the English language in a way that feels natural to them. Phonics is the cornerstone of our program. We introduce children to the sounds of English letters and simple words, helping them to develop the skills they need to begin reading. By making phonics fun and interactive, we ensure that your child gains the confidence to start recognising and pronouncing words, setting the stage for a strong reading foundation.

At Small Talk, learning extends beyond the classroom. Our preschoolers participate in a variety of creative activities, including arts and crafts, music, and movement. We understand the importance of a well-rounded experience for young learners. Each class includes a break for a healthy fresh fruit snack, giving children the opportunity to recharge and socialise with their peers in English. This social time is invaluable for practising conversational skills in a relaxed and friendly setting.

• Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday 09h00 – 11h30/12h00
• Snack: Fresh fruit provided daily
• Activities: Phonics, early reading, art, crafts, music, songs, storytime, and play
• Requirements: Children must be over 3 years old and able to use the toilet independently.
• Cost: 75chf per session (2.5-hours)
