1P & 2P English Program at Small Talk

Welcome to our 1P & 2P English classes at Small Talk, where we combine discovery, play, and structured learning to create a fun and effective language experience for children. Designed for ages 4 to 6, our program immerses young learners in English through engaging activities that build a strong foundation in language skills.

At this stage, your child’s natural curiosity and eagerness to learn make it the perfect time to deepen their English language journey. Our 1P & 2P program is focused on more than just phonics—it’s about equipping your child with the confidence and skills to express themselves in English. Through play, stories, songs, and creative activities, we make learning a joyful experience that encourages active participation and a love for the language.

Our 1P & 2P classes are carefully structured to ensure a balance between fun and learning. We cover 10 topics each year, introducing essential vocabulary and phrases while also focusing on phonics, the sounds of English, and basic reading skills. By the end of the program, your child will have a solid foundation to continue their language development with confidence.

Phonics remains a core component of our program. We introduce children to the sounds of English letters and words, helping them develop crucial reading skills. Through interactive and enjoyable activities, we ensure that phonics becomes a natural part of their language learning journey.

Beyond the basics of language learning, our 1P & 2P classes include a variety of creative activities, such as crafts, music, and storytelling. These activities not only make learning fun but also help reinforce the language skills being taught, ensuring that your child remains engaged and excited to learn.

Each session includes a break for a healthy snack, where children can relax and socialise in English. This is a great opportunity for them to practice conversational skills in a natural setting, building both language proficiency and friendships.
